Reduce | Reuse | Recycle | Repurpose | Repair
Hamilton’s Monthly Mending & Repair Meets are made possible with the support of Hamilton City Council.
What to Expect

What to bring:
Clothing items you’d like to mend
Clothing with seams coming apart
Clothing with stains you’d like to creatively cover
Clothing with holes or snags
Learn to Mend
You will have full access to our range of our machines and equipment.
✓ Hand stitching equipment
✓ Mending templates & guides
✓ Cutting & marking tools
✓ Hot or cold drink
Included
This is not a structured ‘workshop’, so you can pop in or out anytime during this time.
With our team of experts, you will be guided and supported at your pace. You will learn specific skills for your project.
Please note, this does not include lessons on how to operate a sewing machine. If you’re comfortable using a machine, you’re welcome to make use of the machines and/or overlockers. If you haven't used a machine before, you’re still welcome to attend - just be prepared to mend and repair using hand-sewing techniques, which is perfect for many types of mending projects.
